Lead Museum Interpreter - (Sandwich, MA)

Lead is responsible for exemplifying visitor engagement techniques that encourages HMG's mission to explore, discover and learn together. This is achieved through connecting visitors to the living and non-living collections by providing quality interactive and memorable experiences that exceed good customer service expectations. In addition to regular staff responsibilities, Leads are responsible for supervising the Interpreter staff and upholding HMG policies and procedures while facilitating a safe, positive, and engaging background for museum visitors when the Manager of Interpretation is not on grounds. Lead Interpreter should be an available resource for staff and visitors so that they can help inform decisions that affect front line operational needs.
