Bioinformatics Associate II - (Foster City, CA)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bioinformatics Associate II to join a global biopharmaceutical company based in California, USA. A very patient-focused company, who scientific research has resulted in fifteen marketed products that are benefitting hundreds of thousands of people, a pipeline of late-stage drug applicants and unmatched patient access programs to ensure medications are available to those who could otherwise not afford them. Responsibilities: The successful applicant for this position will support software engineering activities for Clinical Virology Data Systems and analysis of Viral Sequencing datasets. The applicant will work with Bioinformatics Scientists to develop and test data analysis pipelines and methods used for investigation of viral subpopulations and drug resistance in clinical samples.
