QA Automation Engineer: Security Agent Signatures - (Chicago, IL)

The QA Automation Engineer will create infrastructure to test leading-edge network security signatures and supporting services. Tests will address functional and new feature testing, configuration, networking functionality, automation and regression. The applicant will test vulnerability signatures and ensure accurate and consistent functionality with respect to setup and configuration. Applicant will also develop and run test procedures and automation scripts. The QA Engineer must have the expertise to reproduce and isolate faults, and perform root cause investigation for bug analysis. The engineer should also have a strong understanding of false positives and false negatives. Requirements - TCP/IP and network knowledge and system administration. - Good understanding of software vulnerabilities, their root cause, detection and mitigation. - Must have background with the software engineering life-cycle in a development or QA role. Must understand the QA process.
