Ophthalmic Photographer I The University Of Iowa Department Of Ophthalmology is seeking an Ophthalmic Photographer to acquire skills in all aspects of ophthalmic diagnostic photography under the instruction of the unit supervisor, leading to certification as a Certified Retinal Angiographer. To perform conventional photographic and clinical testing, while being trained in ophthalmic diagnostic photography. A Bachelor's Degree in biomedical photography or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience is required. Practical and academic knowledge of photographic principles including photographic optics, lighting, densitometry, and photographic laboratory procedures, and the ability to translate, adapt and apply this knowledge to ophthalmic imaging. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
