Staff Management - SMX has a great direct hire opportunity with growth potential for a Sourcing Project Manager at our client's facility in Ames, IA. The Sourcing Project Manager manages all aspects of a project(s). This would include, but not be limited to, filling the pool of projects, getting approval to run the projects, developing a timeline, create an action plan, manage resources, work with involved internal departments and external suppliers or other resources. It would also include the management of capital (if needed) for the implementation of the project and tracking and reporting project status to all appropriate people and entities. Requires an expertise to provide and execute strategic plans to meet directives set by management. An perfect applicant will have a experience in 1 of the following; procurement or supply chain.
