Technical Program Manager - (Wixom, MI)

TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER sought by Hexagon Metrology, Inc. in Wixom, MI. Duties: Collaborate closely with business development and product management to assure operational activities are aligned to business development strategy and all products meet customer qualifications. Provide technical support for the core business technology in the development of operational efficiencies. Provide guidance and support by leading the engineering portion of the HxIS group (Systems Engineering, Mechanical Design, and Electrical/Controls Engineering). Develop and maintain an efficient order fulfillment process in conjunction with the central Hexagon operation teams. Work with the organization to migrate production of the integrated solutions from external resources to a dedicated internal group. Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery as well as oversee inventory. Ensure that the sales group and solutions engineers are supported by the engineering team to develop solution proposals and custom integrated solutions.
