Job DescriptionSUMMARY: Excellent opportunity with a large manufacturer with multiple locals locally. Responsible for PURCHASING for a low volume - high complexity manufacturing environment. Mostly purchasing from local and regional suppliers with overseas from China as well. Managing inventory levels to improve production and capacity qualifications. Work together with suppliers to manage total cost and quality parts. Partner with internal teams in supplier selection to meet total quality standards. · Purchasing – o Purchase Orders – Enters and issues purchase orders per MRP qualifications to prequalified suppliers.o Supplier Relationships – Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and partner to meet agreed upon goals.o MRP – Run reports daily, insures accurate supplier details regarding costs, SKU's, quotes, performance , and lead-times.o Expediting Materials – Daily communications with suppliers to ensure on time delivery of materials, manufacturing needs are met
