Security Management Engineer - (Rochester, NY)

The successful applicant shall have excellent command of security management technologies and proven background within a high volume (7,000+ user) and highly regulated (hearth care) environment. Configure & operate Qradar or similar SEM tool (certification a plus but extensive ability is required). Ability in configuring remote logging on Windows, Linux, Cisco, etc. to support Security Event Management (SEM). Ability to ascertain technical qualifications & specific use cases from non-technical personnel. Configuration, operation and tuning of Intrusion Defense Systems (IDS/IPS from various vendors). Strong configuration and operation skills with Cisco network (routers, switches, etc.) and security (firewalls, ACS, etc.) solutions. Command of enterprise management solutions such as BMC, OpenView, IPcenter, Remedy, Service Now, etc. System hardening using CIS benchmarks. Strong documentation and project skills. Security Policy enforcement.
