Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer - (Mcintyre, GA)

Position title: Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer Duration: 10+ months contract, possible extension Location: McIntyre, GA Job assignments: Understand the Environmental and Quality Policies and perform position duties safely by following documented work procedures and instructions, while keeping in mind the Environmental Aspects and their potential Impacts. Participate in addressing quality issues from customer non-conformances. Write process plans including manufacturing and quality plans, inspection documentation and test methods. Perform, MSA's, gage studies on lab and in-process test equipment. Conducting root cause analysis of off specification materials. Lead / participate in 6S / Kaizen events and other Continuous Improvement activities. Design, develop, and implement optimized work areas in the QC labs. Create and improve production planning documents. Collection and reporting of reporting monthly performance goals for quality.
