Lead Actor, Guest Experience - (Monterey, CA)

The Lead Actor, Guest Background will work with the Supervisor of Programs and the Assistant Supervisor of Theatrical Programs in the daily operations associated with the Monterey Bay Aquarium's summer theatrical season. This position will be responsible for certain duties in the Assistant Supervisor's absence. This includes running technology, caring for props and costumes and completing the set-up and break-down associated with the theatrical programs. This position will also be responsible for learning and performing all roles encompassed within the Aquarium's theatrical productions. The foremost responsibility is an outdoor presentation about the history of the Monterey Bay. The Lead Actor will operate historic non-motorized watercrafts including a tule boat and a traditional Chinese sampan, and will perform both on the water as well as on land interpreting the historic fishing practices of people who called the Monterey Bay home.
