RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking a Medical Literacy Editor for a 44 Week/10 - eleven month Contract in Woodbury, MN. Position overview: The Medical Literacy Editor is responsible for editing patient education documents to comply with health literacy and plain language principles as outlined in the Patient Engagement Editorial Guideline documents. The editor will work with internal subject matter experts and the Content Coordinator to ensure all content is accurate and complies with Patient Engagement editorial guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews documents to ensure compliance with Patient Engagement format, guidelines, and templates as outlined in department guidelines and templates to maintain uniformity across the document library Edits documents for grammar, punctuation, and understandability while also editing for consistency in style and language, as necessary; verifies reading level of each document
