Microgrid Controls Engineer Job - (San Mateo, CA)

Overview SolarCity is seeking a highly talented and versatile controls engineer to design, architect and develop technologies for Microgrids. You will be part of a fast-paced and dedicated engineering team that develops embedded software and hardware systems for solar monitoring, energy storage and energy efficiency applications. The perfect applicant will be an experienced PLC/PAC/SCADA controls engineer, have some experience with remote data acquisition and control, and be adept at rapidly learning and implementing new technologies. Responsibilities • Execute the design and development of custom PLC/PAC based control and data acquisition systems • Independently research requirements and collaborate with multiple departments to develop specifications for Microgrid control applications • Manage the entire development of SCADA systems project.
