Job overview: The primary purpose of this position is to greet and assist Canterbury Park guests, park and retrieve their vehicles, and be a visible representative of Canterbury Park while delivering a high-level of customer service. Highly tipped position! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet arriving and departing guests, open vehicle doors, and offer assistance as needed.-- Park vehicles in assigned spaces in a safe and efficient manner and ensures security before returning to the office. Scrape ice and remove snow before returning vehicles to customers. Issue preferred and valet tickets to patrons and fills ticket info in as needed Scan MVP cards for free or discounted service, accept valid coupons, accurately charge charges, count back change and process all payment types through register. Complete accurate daily shift and tip deposits. Control security of valet lot and equipment by restricting access to non-employees.
