Project Specialist - Expansion Job - (San Mateo, CA)

Overview SolarCity is looking to hire a Project Manager to join the Global Program Management Team. The Project Manager will report to the Program Manager and is responsible for moving tasks forward as it relates to key projects. S/he will be following up with members of a Core Project Team for updates and adjustments to action items and will be tracking issues using typical project management tools. This job mandates basic program/project management capabilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the expertise to provide insight around potential risks and opportunities. The Project Manager should also be able to identify conflicts and should escalate to his/her Program Manager. Responsibilities • Move critical projects/milestones forward by managing task lists, action items and time lines • Act as project administrator by assisting with managing timelines, communications, quality, risks, uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, identifying resource constraints, etc.
