Overview / Responsibilities Amec Foster Wheeler Environment & Infrastructure is seeking an On-call Fire Assay Laboratory Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. Required responsibilities Fire assaying for Au and Ag determinations in blasthole samples Maintain inventory and ordering of office and laboratory supplies Arrange for repair services as needed for office and laboratory equipment Assist with sample receipt and login, and routine sample preparation and analyses procedures on a variety of sample matrices Prepare quality control samples such as round robin samples, analytical standards, duplicates and spikes Participate in the quality control and assurance programs of the Central Laboratory, by assisting in proficiency testing, routine audits, trouble shooting and continuous process improvements Neat legible record keeping, a safe-work attitude and proficient writing and technical skills are mandatory attributes
