ABOUT US: Since 1867, the Sacramento Children's Home has been dedicated to caring for our community's most vulnerable children and families. We offer a comprehensive spectrum of prevention, early intervention and treatment programs to strengthen families and stop the generational cycle of child abuse and neglect. OVERVIEW: We are looking for people who are interested in reaching out to the African American community to provide community-based support services, including home visitation, parenting workshops, and other support services to families identified at risk for child abuse and neglect and to reduce the number of child deaths.
