About Jewish World Watch (JWW): JWW is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, organization that works to end genocide and mass atrocities worldwide by educating and mobilizing individuals, advocating for policy changes and funding projects to support and build resilience in conflict-affected communities. Currently we are focused on the conflicts in Sudan, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Syria. POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Director of Advocacy and Programs, the Program Officer will provide support and contribute to all facets of JWW's grantmaking and advocacy programs. Duties and Responsibilities: Grantmaking: Assist in overseeing a multi-country grantmaking portfolio, disbursement and reporting schedule, and communication with grantees when needed Review grantee reports and liaise with partners on program updates and issues Support the Director of Policy and Programs in researching new partnership engagement opportunities and vetting proposals and concept notes
