Maintenance Technician - (Fairbanks, AK)

* Operate a forklift to dump garbage, move pallets, etc.; * General grounds keeping duties; * Maintain adequate stock of equipment spare parts; * Keep all maintenance log books and service records up to date; * Must be available as needed for emergency call-outs; * Purchase and transport of building materials and maintenance supplies; * Assist with minor building repairs such as painting, basic carpentry and basic plumbing etc.; * Assist in the maintenance of lab equipment i.e. changing air and water filters, cleaning scrubber nozzles, and greasing bearings; * Routine maintenance and repairs on equipment such as heating and a-c units, blowers, scrubbers; jaw crusher, and ring mills; * General building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs
