Senior Scientist - (Liberty Lake, WA)

Overview: Senior Scientist will be a key member of the Technology Development Team. Main responsibilities will be a) identifying key opportunities in the energy space, and b) developing, simulating, testing, and implementing unique and powerful control algorithms for a wide variety of energy applications. Responsibilities: 1. Perform research and analysis of upcoming commercial opportunities in the energy space 2. Develop, simulate, test, and improve electrical system control algorithms for a wide variety of applications 3. Perform economic analysis of business cases based on realistic physical, economic, and market assumptions 4. Support transfer of key software and algorithms to a production software environment (i.e. be a part time member of a production software team) 5. Support Sales and Marketing by performing customer-specific energy storage system simulations, documenting methods and results, and presenting to customers 6. Participate in commissioning and monitoring of energy storage systems
