Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Responsibilities of this position include: Develop and lead continuous improvement / lean manufacturing activities to reduce cost Identify opportunities to eliminate waste and support implementation Maintain accurate time studies on each operation within assigned area Standard Time Data (MODE) Stopwatch / Delay studies Coach Team Leaders to write standardized work (job instruction training documents) Develop and maintain workstation layouts Provide parts routing info to Material for new parts and re-balance changes Support and drive throughput improvement within assigned area Top Bottleneck Evaluation Data Collection and Analysis for Top Bottlenecks Lead / Support weekly Throughput Improvement meetings Screen each operation within assigned area for Ergonomic and Safety concerns Support plant Ergonomist for assessments using NIOSH and CT screening tools Write work orders for in-plant rearrangement Design material delivery racks / work tables
