Volunteer Coordinator - Pt - (Conroe, TX)

We are actively seeking a Part-time Volunteer Coordinator for our Conroe, TX program. The ideal candidate will be part of our small and enthusiastic interdisciplinary team of health care professionals providing end-of-life care. Duties include, but not limited to: Recruits, selects, trains, supervises, & evaluates volunteers. Explores the need for volunteers with the patient/family/caregiver and entire hospice team. Develops programs to utilize volunteers in administrative, bereavement, and other roles. Maintains monthly statistics and personnel files for the volunteer program. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings. Provides details to individuals & community groups about hospice volunteer services.
