Warehouse Lead - C-Shift - (Villa Rica, GA)

Description: The Lead Warehouse Associate leads and coordinates all product movement throughout this cross-docking operation. Ensures timely unloading, verifying, staging, and loading of freight. Coordinates and oversees the daily activities of warehouse personnel under the direction of the Supervisor in order to profitably meet the qualifications of the customer. Essential Duties: * Determines work priorities, prepares work schedules, expedites workflow * Understands and communicates productivity standards and goals * Prepares reports, enters data in computerized systems, * Ensures sanitation standards are met * Assigns tasks to warehouse personnel including inbound unloading, outbound staging and loading, verifying and labeling of freight * Audits tasks performed by warehouse personnel * Completes reports and records in a timely manner * Communicates with customer service and management * Leads associates in daily work duties * Trains new associates, plans, assigns and directs work
