Functional Area: CL - Claims Estimated Travel Percentage (%): No Travel Relocation Provided: No AIG Claims, Inc. Personal Accident Claim Examiner to handle all aspects of claim resolution for assigned claims while providing world class service to external and internal customers. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Confirming coverage of claims by reviewing policies and documents submitted in support of claims. Analyzes coverage and communicate coverage position. Conduct, coordinate and direct investigation into loss facts Determine eligibility of claims and amounts owed under the terms of the contract. Recognize and pursue subrogation where warranted. Highly organized with expertise to work in high pace environment. Insurance claims background of at least 1+ years with exposure to Accident&Health claims or medical bill processing. Applicant should have above average technical skills, strong written and spoken communication abilities and the expertise to read and interpret insurance policies.
