Painter - (Portland, ME)

DESCRIPTION Applicant must be able to complete assignments in a timely fashion to the satisfaction of the immediate supervisor, travel daily to the assigned location and leave work site clean & free of debris and tools at the end of each workday. Position is full time, 40 hours per week, with normal hours eight to 4:30 (with 1/2 hour break for lunch). Spurwink offer a competitive wage. DUTIES Prepare surfaces for painting including patching, priming and preparing walls. Power wash exterior decking and siding. Paint or stain surfaces (interior & exterior). Light carpentry duties. Move furniture, appliances etc. to allow for painting; assistance from others will be necessary for large heavy loads. Procure, store & maintain the supplies needed to complete assignments. Other assignments falling to the facilities department may be assigned as required. Report progress to immediate supervisor on a daily basis or as mutually agreed. Submit receipts on a bi-weekly basis for approval/and reimbursement.
