Department: Media Support Services A Life-Changing Career Responsibilities: The Photographer's role is multi-disciplinary, providing photographic support for Mayo Clinic within a clinical and editorial setting. Responsible for patient photography and video in surgical, clinical, and research areas. Responsible for operational event photography and also for image acquisition in a creative role from conceptualization through image selection. which requires creative thinking, decision making, self-motivation, and a high-level of technical skill. Collaborates with Art Directors, designers, Project Managers and/or customers in support of institutional directives. Works independently as well as in a team environment in the completion of responsibilities. Effectively communicates with a wide variety of people in the completion of work. May be asked to provide light video acquisition during editorial assignments with DSLR. Provides training to other photographers.
