Design Consultant (Showroom Sales Associate) - (New York, NY)

Job DescriptionPRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:- Offers suggestions to clients pertaining to pattern, color, etc.- Support outside sales person with requests incurred from road- Aid in any necessary tasks such as stock fulfillment, price changes, reel replenishments etc.- Coordinates special products and assignments for clientele- Requests product from inventory as necessary- Requests the packaging and shipment of samples- Assists with sample book orders and customizes samples for clientele- Measures and cuts available product- Organizes showroom and trimming displays as necessary- Provide customer service to clientele including order processing, customer follow up and customer inquiries- All other duties as assigned by Senior Organizational skills, KNOWLEDGE AND BACKGROUND:- Organizational expertise- Solid communication abilities, both written and verbal- Professional presentation- Sales background
