Material Planning Lead Responsible for scheduling, tracking, and reporting on materials--as they relate to scheduling of production.-- -- Major Responsibilities Oversees Production Planning and Material Handling. Protect the business plan from a Material Department point of view. Plan future business from a Materials perspective. Ensure daily pre-shift inspections are completed, conduct unplanned inspection audits on a weekly basis and conduct semi-annual planned inspection audits of area Routinely make visual inspections of emergency evacuation routes correcting any safety concerns immediately Support and monitor investigation of all accidents and injuries initiating the accident and injury
