Assistant Professor of Accounting - (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

Wilkes University invites candidates for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership. The Sidhu School emphasizes the growth of students as capable and authentic leaders, with attention to the advancement of their cognitive and emotional intelligence, and their expertise to make decisions based on sound values. The successful applicant will be able to teach traditional undergraduate and graduate level courses in Accounting as well as other courses currently offered by the Sidhu School and work efficiently as part of a collaborative team. The applicant should demonstrate a strong understanding of learning and motivation; skills in the assessment, advising and mentoring of learners; and the expertise to deal effectively with individual differences in expertise, personality and interests. Academic requirements include a PhD in Accounting preferred or MBA/CPA with strong professional experience. ABD near completion considered.
