Inventory Planner - (Carrollton, GA)

Position duties/Activities Analyzes, determines and maintains min and max levels of raw materials and finished goods, adjusting min / max levels based on usage trends, product availability, cost considerations to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory. Reviews MRP messages and recommends changes to settings. Responsible for the requisitioning and expediting of all raw materials and purchased products. Analyzes Root Cause of Slow Moving/Obsolete materials and recommends changes to prevent more SMO---s Reviews expiring inventories of finished goods or raw materials and works with production to use promptly or with lab to extend or dispose. Review and fixes negative inventory in ERP system. Designs and reviews reports to maintain inventory accuracy. Plans, coordinates and performs physical inventories to ensure the accuracy of the perpetual inventory system; reconciles physical and perpetual inventory as necessary.
