Police Officer CITY OF BEDFORD HEIGHTS, OHIO NOTICE OF EXAMINATION ENTRY-LEVEL POLICE OFFICER A civil service examination will be held on Saturday, June 17, at 9:00 a.m., at the Bedford Heights Community Center, 5615 Perkins Road, Bedford Heights, Ohio, for the position of entry-level police officer. Each candidate must be a citizen of the United States or have declared intention to become a citizen, be able to read and write English, possess a high-school diploma or equivalent and be 21 yrs of age on or before the date of the exam. Civil service applications will be available at www.bedfordheights.gov from March 6 through March 17, and also at the Bedford Heights city hall reception desk, 5661 Perkins Road, weekdays from 8:30-5:00 during the above dates. A civil service application is required; the city's general employment application will not be accepted. Completed applications will be accepted by the Civil Service Secretary from April 17 through May 8 (excluding April 18), weekdays from 10-2 and 3-5.
