We offer a positive workplace environment and tremendous growth potential.Responsibilities and Duties Check eligibility and benefit verification Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing details Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing Post payments to appropriate accounts Review denied claims for appeals Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and state Medicaid Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe All accounts are to be reviewed for insurance or patient follow-up Update billing software with rate changes Updates cash spreadsheet, runs collection reportsQualifications and Skills Min of 2+ years of background with Medical Billing, Medical Denials/Appeals, OR Payment Posting. Knowledge of HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer qualifications and systems.
