Purchasing and Materials Manager - (Duluth, MN)

IKONICS Corporation A Duluth-based imaging technology company is looking for a Purchasing and Materials Manager to perform a variety of purchasing and production scheduling duties. This person is responsible for establishing strategic relationships with key suppliers, identifying new suppliers, and continually improving purchasing methods to negotiate best possible prices. Developing weekly production schedules, establishing bill of materials, and calculating actual costs and margins are all other qualifications for this position. Background with international purchasing and price negotiating is a plus. Implementation of a new ERP system will be an important responsibility during the 1st year. Min qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Business Administration and a min of 5 yrs' background in a purchasing role. Person must be a U.S. citizen or have a permanent resident card.
