Job RequirementsMust be physically able to travel to all areas of the Hatchery. Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for long periods of time (6-9 hours). Must be able to exert up to 60lbs of force occasionally and up to 40lbs of force frequently. Must be able to perform strenuous work in a dusty and wet environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 100 degrees. Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, stoop, grasp, push, pull and reach overhead.Necessary SkillsSuccessful applicants must possess a high-school degree or equivalent. Must have 3 to five (3-5) years of mechanical background; preferably with electronics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Applicant must be able to work unsupervised, and be able to follow any written or verbal instruction. Must be able to read and write in English, in order to complete documentation of tasks. Must have a strong willingness to learn and accept new responsibilities. Possibility of off-shift work may be needed.
