Senior Accountant Location: Manchester, CT The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in accounting department. The position will have a strong focus on ensuring the timely and accurate release of internal and external financial statements through both creation and review of monthly journal entries as well as the preparation of the statements themselves. This position is also responsible for various reports as requested by upper management. Responsibilities Prepare and distribution all internal and external financial reporting Maintain and administrate financial reporting software Assist with financial statement audits Perform month end journal entries and reconciliations Conduct month end department meetings to discuss and document budget variance analysis Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed Minimum experience Min 5yrs background in an accounting environment Bachelor's degree in accounting
