Mechanical Engineer - (Wilmington, OH)

Responsible for design and project development activities in support of new product development projects and sustaining engineering projects under the direction of a principal mechanical design engineer or engineering manager. Key assignments include detailed hands-on development work such as CAD design, prototyping, testing, transfer to manufacturing and supporting product launch. Outstanding communication, teamwork and management skills are essential. Trained and Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and capable of applying GD&T callouts to drawings per ASME Y 14.5. Innovative in developing new designs. Develops patentable designs. Manages special assignments and maintenance responsibilities effectively. Anticipates and minimizes conflicting deadlines. Proficient using Solidworks software.
