Analytical Chemist - (Kannapolis, NC)

JOB SUMMARY The successful applicant will be responsible for performing physical, chemical and/or analytical testing on in-process, Finished Product and Stability samples in a cGMP environment in compliance with applicable procedures, methods and policies. Knowledge of chemical interactions and use of analytical instruments is required. The Chemist I analyst will also perform calibration, qualification and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation as needed. The Chemist I will properly document all testing, calibration and instrument maintenance in the appropriate logbooks using cGMP procedures. The Chemist I analyst may be required to work weekend days and/or overtime hours as needed to accomplish the assigned work. This is a fast-paced environment where it will be necessary to keep focus on high sample throughput, safety and quality while managing the day to day challenges of changing priorities.
