Product Design Engineer - (Mt Pleasant, PA)

Seeking experienced (Min 3 yrs on the job background) Mechanical Product Design Engineer for a Direct Placement opportunity in Westmoreland County. Must be interested in and confident in ability to work independently without instruction or supervision. Must have recent Solidoworks background; other softwares are unfortunately not substitute-able at this time, as no training period can be provided. Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 based on experince. Hours: About 8a.m. to 6p.m. Must Have: Consumer Product Design background from initial design conception through creation three years recent Solidworks Product Design background Sheet Metal/Plastics Design background Position assignments: Design of products, subassemblies and enclosures in Solidworks. Reduce cost to manufacture. Ability in product development preferably in energy or electronics industry. Ability in mechanical design. Knowledge of fundamental material science principles and fundamental heat transfer principles. Background in product enclosure design.
