QA Technician - (Salem, OR)

Job summary: Will be working in a controlled environment and assisting with testing paint samples. Tests include: -Viscosity -Density -Grind Check -etc. Throughout the process, individual will be responsible for recording data in LIMS system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment; Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics; Investigates quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests; Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested; Maintains quality production records in a timely manner; Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in maintaining the ISO9001 responsibilities; Suggests changes in work conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of shop, department, or employees; Ensure adherence to appropriate government regulations and company procedures.
