Machine Operator 6-6 mon Katy TX Applicant will need to pass a drug test and experience screenings. Job summary Under direct supervision of the Production Supervisor and Team Lead this position will typically start in 1 function of the Stator department and progress into all functions. The position entails running different types of machinery both automated and manual (manual lathes, injection, blast, cutback, etc.). The product worked on are tubes of all sizes up to twelve outer diameter 25? long. The most common sizes being in the 6 outer diameter 15? to 20? long range. Frequent use of overhead cranes and an expertise to be certified to run them is required. There is some heavy lifting required, max 50lbs, by some of the operations and every person needs to be physically fit to meet the qualifications below. Essential Job Functions ?Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. ?Expertise to read drawings and measurement tools. ?Lift up to 50lbs. ?Have a good understanding of arithmetic.
