As 1 of the nation's fastest growing Christian foster care ministries, The Bair Foundation is currently seeking an Licensing Specialist in Kent, OH to work in our Kent and Warrensville Heights locations. Core Responsibilities: * Ensures the foster/adoptive family file documentation is in compliance with all state regulatory qualifications. * Schedules and conducts initial home study of prospective foster/adoptive parents. * Makes recommendations regarding the approval or rejection of foster and adoptive candidates. * Instructs lesson modules for Group Study Process. * Oversees all ongoing training to meet state qualifications. * Conducts training need assessments of foster families. * Approves training for foster parents and compiles quarterly training reports for families. * Performs recertifications as required by state regulations. * Responsible for assessing foster families' expertise to provide a safe and nurturing environment for foster children.
