Unit Description Sodexo'sUniversities Division is seeking a quick paced Executive Chef at the University of Mainelocated in Machias, ME. A great place to work and live, Machias is full of history. The Executive Chef will oversee the daily culinary needs of University of Maine. This campus dining location is located 1 hour away from the Canadian Border. We are searching for an energeticleader to lead the kitchen team and have awillingness to learn Sodexo systems. Client has a high expectation of food and culinary experience and interaction with students. Our perfect applicant will be a self-starter with stellar communication abilities and the expertise to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong culinary organizational skills needed to be successful inthis position. Experience managing a food service team in an education environment is strongly preferred. Exceptional client relations and team building skills a must!
