What does a Best Buy DC Loss Prevention Officer do? The Distribution Center (DC) Asset Protection Officer ensures the safety of DC employees as well as the integrity of inventory by monitoring activities through personal observation and closed circuit tv system. The Loss Prevention Officer may be exposed to inclement weather while operating handheld metal detectors, hand held radios, and must be willing to work at both the front desk and guard house. Excellent interpersonal and observational skills are critical to success. Key Assignments include: * Monitors employees entering and exiting the warehouse area * Enforces facility visitor procedures * Ensures C-TPAT procedures are followed * Complete Regular loss prevention reports * Answering incoming telephone calls
