Assistant Facility Security Officer - (King George, VA)

Overview: SCCI is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (FSO) to support our Systems Engineering Division in King George, Virginia. The position necessitates involvement with high level contacts and exposure to sensitive info necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment in supporting the day to day security requirements of the Systems Engineering Division. Hours for this position are 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. This is an Entry Level position. Responsibilities: Work all facets of the personnel security clearance process to include, initial request, fingerprints, indoctrination, reinvestigation, etc. Provide initial security briefing to new employees, and debriefings to departing employees. Perform incident/adverse details reporting. Conduct periodic self-inspections as directed by the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Requirements: Necessary skills and Background: Expertise to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
