Direct Care Staff - (Liberty Center, OH)

Residential Treatment/Direct Care Staff for Youth Genacross Family & Youth Services requires strong, confident staff members, who have the capacity to deal with high-risk youth who have behavioral and emotional difficulties. Youth may experience frequent emotional crises and be assaultive and/or destructive. You must have the skills to verbally de-escalate a crisis and to use mature judgment with a youth who is out of control. You will need leadership skills, milieu management expertise, fast paced levels, self-discipline, a cool approach to volatile situations, reliability, flexibility, and dedication. We are currently hiring two nd and three rd shift (must stay awake through the entire shift) positions. Experience working with high-risk youth, or a experience in coaching, military or security is preferred. Bachelors degree is also preferred. Hiring full and part-time staff. Training is provided.
