Information System Security Officer with Security Clearance - (Indian Springs, NV)

Position overview ***This position is contingent upon contract award and formal notice to proceed with an expected start in April of 2017*** Major Duties ISSO reporting to the SCI Site Info System Security Manager (ISSM), are the single point of contact for the security posture of IS(s) under their responsibility. The ISSO assists and supports development of programs and processes that strengthen the overall details security posture of the unit and organization. Assists in the maintenance of approvals/accreditations for all classified systems and ensures transmission to appropriate government agencies on a timely basis. Assist in developing details system security plans (SSP), best practices and guidelines for classified systems in SAPF classified environments. Updates and maintains the system security plans for each accredited classified computer system at specified sites.
