Mechanical Engineer - Machine Design - Manufacturing - (Aiken, SC)

Plant Mechanical Engineer for a very large (over one million square feet) manufacturing plant in South Carolina (near Augusta, GA). Our client is a Fortune 500 manufacturer who is the international leader in its field. The plant cost $1.2 billion and is the most expensive commercial plant ever built in South Carolina. This is 1 of our best clients. This Engineer reports to the Plant Engineering Manager and will be responsible for leading projects in his/her area of ability working in a manufacturing environment. The projects will be performed by in-house maintenance personnel and outside contractors. Will provide input into the design for new or modified systems, processes or technologies. Serve as technical lead, planning and organizing portions of project budget, manpower and equipment utilization. Troubleshoot problems on existing systems, processes and technologies. Utilize available resources (other engineers, multi-skilled maintenance and operations team members).
