Job DescriptionMerritt Island Air & Heat, Inc., has been serving Central Florida's Mechanical Contracting needs since 1971. A family owned and operated business we currently have immediate openings in the Tampa areas, and Central Florida for the following positions:HVAC Duct MechanicMust have the following in order to apply: At least 1yr experience in the field with sheetmetal and/or ductboardMust be mechanically inclined and have a working expertise of Mechanical systems for HVACAbility to work outdoors in direct sunlight and heat for 8+ hours.Have general commercial construction experience.Must provide their own duct mechanic toolsHave a clean driving history and their own form of transportation.Preferred Skills: High-school certificate and 1-three years of on-the-job training preferred.Position details: Installation and Fabrication of both Sheetmetal and Fiberglass Ductboard.
