Software Engineer - (Lynchburg, VA)

Our customer is seeking a Software Engineer to join their State and Local Emergency product development team. This team creates cutting edge technology for 911 Emergency Response Systems for State and Local 911 Stations across the country. This person will be involved in the Design, Development, and Testing portion of the next version of software for their Dispatch Counsel. You will be involved in technology that allows America's 1st responders to quickly and accurately provide help in a time of need. Job details: - Knowledge of WCF, MEF, MVVM, and PRISM - IP and P25 protocols experience, including TCP, UDP, Mobile IP, CSSI, ISSI, Windows sockets - Generating and maintaining personal schedules, milestones, and deliveries - BSEE (Electrical Eng.) / BSCS (Computer Science) / BSCE (Computer Eng.) / BSSE (Software Eng.) or equivalent with a min three years of experience - four years C# and Microsoft.NET Windows application programming - Participating in Qualifications, Design, and Code reviews
