Quality Engineer Rome, GA $55K-$62K first Shift M-FR Direct Hire Position Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to work with the engineering and production team for quality improvements. As a Quality Engineer you will perform and analyze cyclical quality checks, maintaining responsibility for supporting a safe workplace environment following safety rules and authorized work practices. Min 1-2 yrs in a manufacturing environment Must be a hands on Engineer who has worked on the floor Some travel may be required to meet with clients as needed Customer and supplier written and verbal interaction Background in conducting or preparing for ISO quality system audits (TS 16949) Valid driver’s license Educational Qualifications: BS in Engineering Skills Required: Creation of FMEA and control plan documentation to ensure processes and procedures are traceable to Documented standards.
