Substitute Teacher - (Karnes City, TX)

Substitute Teacher Critical Action Items: * Responsibility for assisting in the education and daily program of the classroom. * Assists with implementation and coordination of all Head Start functions. * Identifies, reports, provides supportive services in child abuse/neglect cases, notifying the Sr. Program Director/Program Director/ Center Coordinator. * Assist in the implementation of lessons plans. Measureable Deliverables: * Assist in providing educational background that will: * Instill in each child a good self-image and sense of self-worth * Develop language art and skills for all children, * Include multi-culture, folklore, etc. into the program * Ensure all children receive individual attention. * Be in the classroom before children arrive each morning, unless designated by supervisor to another duty. * See that all areas are safe including: * classroom * playground * restrooms * classroom and outdoor equipment * buses (if transporation is provded)
